Book review reminders:
Paraphrase, don't cut and paste;
Opinion and Theme sections are where the thinking and connecting happens;
Use the book reviews to help determine (or agree/disagree) with tone;
Photos are a must;
Your review should be formatted like my review;
Quality, not quantity;
Use your voice in the opinion section, let me read what you think;
Textural evidence is required in the form of quotes OR examples of what happens in the book;
Use your cheat sheet about introducing textural evidence - For example, in the 1st chapter, according to, the character reveals, etc;
Watch out for TOO MUCH TEXTUAL EVIDENCE AND NO ANALYSIS.
Use a normal font, not something fancy.
